For those of you that don't know me, I'm Chloe and I am the Marketing Manager here at Cloth Lifestyle. I am also a massive fashion lover through and through, however when you work in fashion one tends to become quite immune to all the beautiful new pieces arriving weekly.
With us being in the midst of Tasmanian winter, there are 5 pieces I could not go past. I try and keep my wardrobe very curated and simple; staple pieces I know I will reach for over and over but that I can recreate into different looks easily.
1. Jeans.
2. Sweatshirt of my dreams...
The Miles Sweatshirt Letterman Sweatshirt in Black has everything I love wrapped into one. It's not as long as the
Tyler Sweatshirts that I already own, but it's still got an amazing oversized, boxy fit, the nicest thickness and warmth to it, and a nice exaggerated fit in the sleeves. Being all black, which
Anine rarely does in her
sweatshirts, it's a bit more elevated to be able to wear with denim and layered with a coat etc.
3. Coats are life.
Especially when you live in the coldest place in Australia! This coat does just as much for me in warmth as it does looking fab.
4. Knitwear - my one and only.
I cannot live through the rest of winter without numerous knits on rotation. This knit has just dropped online for pre-order and it's high on my wish list.
I am a big fan of all things neutral, and this
Sharpo Sweater by Jac + Jack ticks all my boxes. This is a repeat style and let me tell you, the softness of the cashmere does not disappoint. The difference between a good quality cashmere knit and a cheaper version; well they just don't compare. This Ghost Marle colour way is the nicest light beige shade, so it strays slightly from my usual black and white which is a win, with the beautiful v-neck and the relaxed fit.. It's going to be a favourite for sure.
5. I need all the gold jewellery!!
We've recently added
Anna Rossi Jewellery to our collection at Cloth, and it hasn't disappointed. I could not decide between the earrings or the necklace being my favourite so I am going to add them both as a draw.
Jewellery can just really add something to an outfit with such minimal effort. Need I say more, staple gold pieces that don't tarnish are *chefs kiss* for me and my busy lifestyle. The Poolside's have sold out in the gold at the moment but they will be restocked very soon - and for all those silver lovers we haven't forgotten you, there are a heap of stunning silver pieces online also.
Also, can't not mention this knit by Viktoria and Woods either, the
VWXX Knit is still on my wishlist but we only have a few left so I've slept on that one for now. For reference I am a size 8 and wearing the size 2 here for a more relaxed fit.
There you have it, my favourite pieces of the season that I couldn't resist taking home with me! Special mention also goes to my number one shoes that have so far carried me through most of these winter days, my
Adidas Samba's. Definitely the go-to shoe of the moment, perhaps I need to be a bit bold and try a colour in them?
